1. Antique Coffee
Needless to say, Antique Coffee is a pilgrimage place for enthusiastic social media users. The exterior of the cafe is a little bit humble for a hot place so that we nearly just passed it, even watching GPS on the phone. But as soon as we entered through the door, we just said “Wow!”
There is a show table in front of the order counter. Looking beautiful and yummy croissants, tarts and scones are on the table with fancy flowery decoration like a dessert table for royal tea time. Taking pictures of the show table is not weird and awkward thing at all. Because everybody is taking a picture there.
This cafe is not just famous for its well photographing goods, also tastes and quality, especially for the croissants. I’ve never seen croissants like these before. So pretty, so savory and crispy. It goes well with coffee.
Fortunately we arrived before noon, so there were enough bakery goods on the table to appreciate. After lunch time, this cafe usually has a long waiting line, and trays becomes empty quickly.
Staffers were so nice that they helped us to get a space for Soo’s wheelchair.

| Doughnuts and Cronuts of BeeBeede Cronut. |
2. BeeBeede Cronut
Another hot place for dessert in Yeonnamdong is BeeBeede Cronut. As you can see, this bakery shop is famous for cronut.
The cronut is a kind of a pastry, but its shape is like a doughnut. The name ‘cronut’ is from ‘croissant and doughnut’. It is said that it was created by a French chef Dominique Ansel in 2013. And now we have many kinds of cronuts all over the world with various toppings and fillings.
BeeBeede Cronut is famous for cronuts, real doughnuts and Korean twisted doughnuts(kkwabaegi, 꽈배기) as well. Milk Cronut(우유 크로넛, 4,500 won) is the representative item.
The exterior and interior of the shop is a retro style. It is kind of a small shop, but you can have coffee and a doughnut at a table inside or outside, or at the park nearby.
Their products are also very photographing for social media. Of course the tastes are good, too.
They sell tiny cute candles and wines, which means you can simply celebrate someone’s birthday with a cronut or a doughnut with pretty lit candles and a bottle of wine. That is a cute idea, I think.
The price range is from 3,500 won to 5,800 won. Its americano price is 5,000 won.

It is in the middle of the busiest street in Yeonnamdong. And some pop-up stores are in department stores, but these are temporary stores.
